My fourth weapon arrived on Monday, knit halfway through the third repeat by my most recent target on size 7 needles. I got gauge on size 3s. One of the things I’ve learned in this competition is what a loose knitter I am.
I only had to finish 1.5 repeats and the decreases. It was a relief after my previous two weapons, one of which was the start of a swatch, and the other which was partway through the first repeat. I was a little concerned about running out of the main color. I was checking online to see if I could order more. I ended up with maybe 10 yards left.

I was able to work on it while waiting for Kaity at her drum lessons yesterday, and then again this morning while proctoring an exam for Dr. Crawford, who is spending 10 days in Argentina.
The colors reminded me of zombies, so this weapon is appropriately named Braaaaiiins. I hope my target in Maine enjoys it.
